Lana Del Rey’s Next Single “Summer Bummer” Out June 29: See The Fierce Cover Art!
Mark June 29th on your calendars because that’s when the next single from “Lust for Life” is going to get released.
The official artwork for Lana del Rey’s next single has just leaked online as well as the confirmed release date for said song. The new song is titled “Summer Bummer”, it will feature rappers A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti, and it will be released next Thursday – most likely at midnight.
The single’s art shows a très sexy Lana del Rey, looking ten years younger, wearing a neck choker and nibbling a cherry as she stares seductively straight into the camera.
Although the new single is called “Summer Bummer” I have the feeling it’s not going to be a bummer nor a downer of a song. My crystal ball is telling me it’s going to be hip hop-influenced the cool way, and although perhaps it won’t fall in the “up-tempo” category, it’s definitely going to have a lot of swagger and a beat that will make you want to nod your head all along. I have high hopes for this. Lana better serve this summer’s #1 urban jam. Multi-format queen!
And please, what about her stunning, I-don’t-give-a-fuck face in the single’s artwork? That music video for “Summer Bummer” could be my favorite Lana del Rey visual ever if she serves the hell out of that brat attitude.
