Lana Del Rey - "High By The Beach" [Music Video Premiere!]
Lana del Rey premiered at noon (EST) today, August 13th, the full version of her “High By The Beach” music video on VEVO - after a whole week of Instagram teasers. The trap-pop record is the official lead single from the New Yorker’s forthcoming third studio album “Honeymoon”.
The music video shows Ms. Del Rey sporting a flowy dress, and carrying a monstrous gun by the ocean. The summery clip basically is all about Lana walking in the uber-graceful way she’s only capable of, enticing the camera with a few delicate looking-straight moments, and selling us the idea she’s just there, all high, under the sun. Casual, simplistic, and perfect = very Lana style!
Jake Nava directed the "High By The Beach" visual - he already worked with Lana in the past directing for her the "Shades of Cool" MV.
LanaNow further explains the storyline of the newly-premiered clip:
She takes down the helicopter with her big ass gun and you can see the stories about her on newspapers burning up in the air.

She walks around and then goes down to the beach to grab a guitar case under big rocks and goes to the balcony and takes down the helicopter
