Lana Del Rey - "Freak" [Music Video Premiere]
And she kept her promise. At 10 pm PT last night, February 9th, Lana del Rey dropped her music video for “Freak” on VEVO. The self-directed clip sees Ms. Del Rey sharing the ‘starring’ responsibilities with Father John Misty, who plays her lover in the video, and the girls from the “Music To Watch Boys To” video, who play the mistresses of Father John Misty in his sexual fantasies.
The “Freak” music video lasts almost 11 minutes, however, since this is a Lana del Rey music video, I don’t find it weird at all. 11 minutes it is.
The music video shows Father John Misty and Lana del Rey having a relaxing summery day in the countryside. The two lovebirds will sit near a cliff where they will display their affection for each other. And Lana’s affection towards his man is so powerful that she will make his sexual fantasies come true upon providing him with some synthetic drug - putting some square-shaped, thin plastic thingy on his tongue. The result will be that Father John Misty will begin to see beautiful girls surrounding him and showing him nothing but love. As the “Freak” music video progresses, we also get to see sexy Lana pouring some red beverage all over her, and diving into deep waters with his man and his girls – apparently Lana ended up taking a bit of that synthetic drug too to join his man in his adventures.
