La Roux Encourage Phone Sex In "Kiss And Not Tell" Music Video: Watch
Elly Jackson of La Roux is the face of an erotic hotline in the music video for "Kiss and Not Tell", the newest single from the British singer-songwriter's second album "Trouble in Paradise". La Roux was formerly a duo until founding member Ben Langmaid decided to quit. Now it’s all Elly. Well, technically, it will be all Elly in the next album, as Ben left La Roux after he had written and produced tracks for "Trouble in Paradise". Confusing, huh?
The fun retro-disco song “Kiss and Not Tell” is now officially the second single from "Trouble in Paradise" after "Uptight Downtown” – which only managed to peak at #63 in the UK. Looks like La Roux’s home market has turned its back on Elly. Maybe they were looking for more “Bulletproofs” and less "Uptight Downtowns”?
“Kiss and Not Tell” music video review
The exotic-looking Elly Jackson tries to make sales happen for an erotic hotline in the “Kiss and Not Tell” video. She stars in the company's TV commercials asking viewers to dial a number in order to interact with other people and have a little "pleasure" of their own (phone sex). After some thinking about, people are convinced by Elly, and the Alexander Brown-directed music video shows us a male and a female reaching “ecstasy”.
