Kylie Minogue Releases "Kiss Me Once" Album Sampler, Listen To 50-Sec Snippets!

Hold up! Is "Kiss Me Once" already better than "Aphrodite" with only a sampler out?

Australian pop diva Kylie Minogue released on YouTube this morning (February 17h) a sampler containing 50-second snippets of all the songs on her 12th studio album "Kiss Me Once" which will hit stores on March 17th in the UK, and the following day in the US. "Kiss Me Once" is Kylie's first album since signing a management deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation. The urban-influenced buzz single "Skirt" (released last year) hinted Kylie - now in close terms with the Beyoncé husband and entourage - would attempt recording a more urban-influenced album too, but hearing the first single "Into The Blue" and the sampler here, that "hope" has been wiped out. "Kiss Me Once" sounds like "Aphrodite" 2.0.

There are pure pop songs, electro-pop songs, and more organic-feeling pop songs. "Kiss Me Once", by the snippets, is shaping up to be a really solid album. Stand-out tracks on first listen are: "Kiss Me Once", "Million Miles", "I Was Gonna Cancel" (produced by Pharrell), "Les Sex", and "Sexercise". So much fierceness!!
