Keri Hilson - Breaking Point (New Song!)
R&B songstress Keri Hilson has premiered today "Breaking Point", the official first single from her upcoming sophomore album "No Boys Allowed" in stores in late 2010. The new track was penned by Ms Hilson herself and produced by Timbaland. "The song is about that breaking point that every woman gets to when the excuses given by boys are no longer accepted. Keri comments "If you're not man enough to step to the plate, then keep it moving". A music video for "Breaking Point" will be shot in early September. The good side about this song: Love the energy and the passion Keri SINGS it. Lyrics are deep and I'm sure her female-fans will relate so there will be a connection with that segment. And the song is a return to that pure R&B sound from back in the day. The not so positive side: As a whole, let me disagree with this as the first single. It doesn't sound that strong to create that BUZZ - truly needed to get people excited for the album in the early stages. However, as I've said with other "grower" songs. Perhaps a super amazing video can change minds.
