I was already starting to wonder if there'd be a third single from "The First Time".
Kelsea Ballerini, who we all know from her smash hit "Love Me Like You Mean It", is finally giving "Dibs" a follow-up. She recently announced "Peter Pan" as the official third single from her debut studio album - and she premiered its music video yesterday, April 1, on VEVO. Watch the Kristin Barlowe-directed visual below:
Worthy successor of "Dibs"? "Peter Pan" is a really pretty country/pop song but I don't know if it has that much of "hit" potential. We will see, though! (Would you have preferred a different song from "The First Time" as third single?)
As for its music video, it shows Kelsea Ballerini being the "Queen of the Desert" for one day. She will flaunt her amazing figure in two beautiful dresses, she will dance sensually with her boyfriend, and she will watch how her boy flies an aerobatic aircraft (so damn scary!). Is that it? Well, yeah. She really doesn't care for her boyfriend doing those risky stunts, but in the end he is a "Peter Pan" - a man that will never grow up. Kelsea knew he was trouble since he met him but she is in love and she will adapt to her boyfriend's way of life. This is what her new single is all about.
