Katy Perry Performs 'Prism' Tracks For The First Time at World Tour Kick-Off: Watch
Katy Perry kicked off her pop extravaganza that is the 'Prismatic World Tour' at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Wednesday, May 7th.
Tickets for the first of the two consecutive shows at the Odyssey Arena have been sold out for months. So Katy knew the reception and fan support were going to be incredible. Now that she's 'on the road', the tour will keep Katy busy throughout the entirety of the year. No joke. The 'Prismatic World Tour' is set to end with the Australian leg in December!
On the first show last night, the much-anticipated setlist was revealed. Katy opened with 'Roar', and closed with 'Firework'. At the Odyssey Arena on Wednesday, the California girl performed several tracks from 'Prism' for the very first time including: 'Birthday', 'This Moment', 'Legendary Lovers', 'Double Rainbow', 'This Is How We Do' or 'It Takes Two'.
The setlist of the 'Prismatic World Tour' also includes a tribute to Queen of Pop Madonna. Katy strutted the runaway to a mash-up of 'International Smile' and 'Vogue'.
