Katy Perry, Lorde, Macklemore & More Perform at "Grammy Nominations Concert" (Video)
The nominees for next year's Grammy Awards were announced in a ceremony held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Friday, December 5th. Billed as the "GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!", a few of this year's hottest music acts perform their biggest songs live. In the case of Macklemore, Robin Thicke and Lorde, they performed live from the Nokia Theatre stage, while as for Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, their performanced had to be streamed from Canada and Australia, respectively.
Macklemore got the energy pumping with their smash hit "Thrift Shop", Robin Thicke joined forces with Earth, Wind and Fire to jam to the monster hit "Blurred Lines", and Lorde sang her breakthrough single "Royals". From overseas, Katy performed "Roar" and Taylor did "I Knew You Were Trouble", her dedication song for Harry Styles.
