Katy Perry channels her inner Cleopatra in the Egyptian-themed music video for "Dark Horse". The Dr. Luke & Max Martin co-produced urban-pop song is the official third single from the pop singer's latest, platinum-selling album "Prism".
Capitol simply do not play when it comes to Katy Perry music videos. We're in the era of VEVO and video streams, so a great music video with a theme is key to attract views and Capitol knows this. The "Dark Horse" video is perhaps the best visual work Katy Perry has done in her career thus far. It's so high-budget, glossy, hilarious and you just want to watch it again and again. It doesn't really make much sense with the song lyrics but whatever.
Scenes in "Dark Horse" music video include Katy Pätra spreading her wings, sitting on her throne and using blasting super powers. Juicy J makes a cameo to perform his rap verse while Katy works the pole with her cat-faced slaves.
