Katy Perry - Part Of Me (New Song!)
"This is the part of me that you're never gonna ever take away from me" sings Katy Perry in this new leaked track entitled "Part Of Me" - The uptempo tune was reportedly produced by Max Martin and Dr Luke during the recording sessions to "Teenage Dream" and word has it "Part Of Me" will be included on an upcoming re-release edition or extended play. This is soooooo good. I just love pop/rock Katy. I don't get tho why she didn't include "Part Of Me" on the original "Teenage Dream" CD? It should have been there instead of, say, "Who Am I Living For" (filler). Anyways, I'm excited to hear MORE new Katy Perry stuff and a re-release/EP sounds like a great idea for 2011.
I'm thinking about the timing though. According to multiple sources, Katy will release one last single from TD, which is "E.T". And then in February she starts the new world tour. She has as of now a blank space in the summer (June, July, August and September) but it looks like those dates will be used for the American leg of the tour (not announced yet). Still, checking Katy's 2011 calendar, summer seems like the only time of the year she'd have to put out the re-release/EP (as she'd be in the USA during those months only). Complicated stuff. Maybe just promoting E.T for a whole month (January) and then release the lead single of the re-release/EP a couple weeks before commencing the tour?
