Kanye West Holds 'Yeezus' Listening Party in Switzerland, Performs 'New Slaves' Acapella
Kanye West held an impromptu listening session for the attendees at the 2013 Art Basel Fair in Switzerland on June 12. Wearing a pair of dark jeans, and a grey hoodie, the renowned rapper left fans, and art lovers wowed by both his long speech about his views on the art world, and the couple of the tracks he previewed off his laptop from his upcoming album "Yeezus", which will hit stores across the world next June 18.
Ehhh...what the heck was Kanye doing in Basel?. Is he really into art that much?. Anyway, the Kim Kardashian baby daddy also treated the cramped audience with a pretty epic acapella rendition of his new song, "New Slaves". Amazing! Kanye's lyrics, and rap are so captivating. "Yeezus" will be released to the world next week without having had a hit single preceding it. In the case of Kanye's last album, 2010's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy", the set was preceded by the hits, "Power" and "Runaway". A pretty risky move if you ask me! But, I'm confident Kanye's talent, and hardcore fan base will make the project prevail. I'm estimating a debut of over 350K copies sold.
