Kane Brown Has A Country Hit In The Bag With “Thunder In The Rain”: Single Premiere

I secretly loved country singer Kane Brown’s “Chapter 1” EP that he released earlier this year and I couldn’t be more thrilled at him premiering new music this soon! The now RCA Nashville-signee will be dropping his full-length studio album later this year and this new song called “Thunder In The Rain” is an official single from it. The uptempo number is available as of this Friday morning (Aug. 5) on all digital platforms!

“Thunder In The Rain”, where Kane sings about a couple that’s feeling the passion of attraction, is not a pure country song but more of a country-pop hybrid. Yes it has a prominent banjo line but, all in all, “Thunder In The Rain” feels very commercial and radio-friendly. No doubt RCA Nashville could make a crossover hit of it!
“Your lips, your eyes, don’t wanna let go / Your skin on mine, I’m losing control”, tells Kane to the girl he’s fallen in love with at first sight. And yes, after these seductive lines, MAGIC between these two happen: "We shake these walls like an earthquake". Oh my! Steamy much!
