Jordin Sparks 'Sign & Sing' at Mall of America
American Idol champ and 'Sparkle' star Jordin Sparks visited Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota this week to promote the film she co-starred with late-diva Whitney Houston which opens in theaters in the US next Friday, August 17th. However looking at the disappointing sales of the soundtrack (debuted at #26, with 16k copies sold), the future 'Sparkle' doesn't look so bright. For the sake of Whitney's memory, cause it'll just be wrong that her last project was a flop, TriStar Pictures better get it together and line-up bigger outlets for Jordin to promote the film, not just a signing event at a mall! They got one week left! I want to see Jordin sitting with Jay Leno, Letterman or at GMA, or Today.
The August 8-held event at Mall of America saw Ms Sparks signing posters and autographs to hundreds of fans, as well as delivering a short mini-concert. The 22-year-old, and Jason Derulo's girlfriend, performed that day her own hits; "No Air", and "One Step At A Time", and the 'Sparkle' track "Love Will".
