Jordin Sparks - "Double Tap" [Music Video Premiere!]

jordin sparks double tap cover

Jordin Sparks has a hot body now and she’s making sure she flaunts it in the official music video for “Double Tap”, the 2 Chainz-assisted new single from Jason Derulo's ex's upcoming third studio album "Right Here, Right Now” due in stores “later this year” via RCA Records.

The Daps-directed MV was exclusively premiered on Yahoo! Music on March 10.

“Double Tap” is FIRE urban-R&B track (Jordin is channelling Kelly Rowland circa the “Motivation” era) and I’m so happy it’s so good because it means Jordin Sparks still has some talent to offer the world and that she might still have a shot at a successful career in the music industry (if this flops though, it’s game over for her. I mean, if “Double Tap” flops no doubt RCA will scrap "Right Here, Right Now”).

“Double Tap” - officially sent for radio adds last week (make sure to request!) – has been described as an “Instagram anthem” (the ‘double tap' thing is the double tap you do on an Instagram photo to make it a sort of “favourite”), where Jordin sings about a womanizer boy, potential mistresses, hoes and bitches. Your average urban song, huh?

As for the video (watch below), it’s sees Jordin getting ready for a party, getting together with her girlfriends, and arriving at the celebratory event. There she’ll link up with 2 Chainz, overuse her Instagram, and exchange glances with the boy she fancies.

What do you think of the video?
