Jordin Sparks - Average Girl (New Song!)
Check out this new Jordin Sparks song entitled "Average Girl". I thought before actually hearing it that it was probably an unreleased cut from her last album but once you give it a listen you say, "OK this has got to be new". Why? It's pop rock! A sound style she hasn't done in the past. Seems the American Idol champ will try new things in her upcoming third studio album. "Average Girl" sounds very Disney, doesn't it? Something Demi Lovato or Selena Gomez could sing these days, or also sounds kinda similar to Aly & AJ's stuff. Anyway, I wouldn't have imagined ever Jordin singing pop/rock but! I like it LOL. Song isn't ground-breaking of course, but it's catchy, upbeat, fresh, I don't know, it works I guess for her now.
