UK singer Jessie J was a guest on the latest episode of "Alan Carr: Chatty Man" on Friday, September 20th, where she updated us on her latest doings during a sit-down interview, and hit the stage to perform her new single "It's My Party". Watch below!

The hilarious Alan Carr first asked Jessie about her latest trip to Rio de Janeiro. Jessie J said she had a great time enjoying the beach life in the Brazilian city, as well as performing for a massive crowd at the "Rock in Rio" festival. This was the first time Alan saw Jessie since shaving her head for Comic Relief, so he inquired her about that too. Speaking of more current issues, Jessie talked about the recording process of her new album "Alive" (which comes in the UK on September 23rd) - and duetting with Brandy for a song - touring with Robin Thicke in the US next year, and his controversial performance with Miley at the VMAs - of Miley's attitude, Jessie said, "It's sad" - and leaving "The Voice UK" for the new series, giving advice to her replacement, Aussie pop diva Kylie Minogue.

As for the "It's My Party" performance, it was vocally strong, but the song it's still bad. Yet, UK'ers seem to have love left for Jessie J's music 'cause the Max Martin-produced cut is set to debut at #3 on the UK Singles Chart, only beaten by Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty" and Katy Perry's "Roar". Should "It's My Party" remain on the Top 5 next week, I will have to eat my words about it being 'destined to flop'. But I'm sure that won't be the case, ha.
