Jessie J & Olly Murs Perform on 'X Factor UK'
Jessie J and Olly Murs were the guest performers on Sunday's results show of 'The X Factor UK' (November 27th) - The 23-year-old vocal powerhouse from Essex, England treated the millions of viewers watching the ITV 1 hit show with a performance of her latest UK single, the emotional ballad "Who You Are". I was at first like; 'wow this sucks, why she ain't performing the catchy 'Domino'?', but everything changed once I watched her stunning rendition of "Who You Are". Man, Jessie J SLAYED...period. Those vocals!! *claps, claps*. I really hope this single becomes a Top 10 hit for her...I know it's her favourite song on the album, so it would mean a lot for her. I know it'll be hard being a ballad, but who knows, maybe the UK audience will change their mind and will go buy the single after this 'X Factor' performance!
Also on Sunday's show, X-Factor alumn Olly Murs took the stage to perform his latest single, the Claude Kelly co-written "Dance with Me Tonight". I think the song is alright, I really didn't see it as single material, but it seems the UK people are loving Olly's music, cause "Dance with Me Tonight" debuted today at #2 on that country's singles chart, only behind Rihanna's "We Found Love". Impresssive, huh? I did like his 'X Factor' performance though. He dressed up, got The Muppets to help him out on stage (lol!), brought a few female dancers, and put on a very Jazzy-like performance. Well done Olly!
