Jennifer Hudson SINGS "I'm Here"
Watch a super slim Jennifer Hudson perform a live rendition of the classic "I'm Here" from the Broadway musical "The Color Purple". This performance took place at the 33rd Annual Kennedy Center Honors which were taped four weeks ago (Dec. 5) but just aired via CBS last night. The ceremony which was held at the Kennedy Center Hall of States in Washington DC saw several artists pay homage to the likes of Merle Haggard, Paul McCartney or Oprah. President of the US Barack Obama and his wife were among the attendees (in the VIP area of course). R&B star Jennifed Hudson was 'in charge' of honouring producer, television host and actress Oprah Winfrey and what better way than performing one of her fave songs ever, "I'm Here" (Oprah starred in the original film of "The Color Purple" in 1985).
