Jason Aldean Gives “Lights Come On” A ‘Concert’ Music Video And I’m Disappointed!

Come on, Jason. I was expecting a real music video!

Country star Jason Aldean took to VEVO last night (June 1) to premiere the music video for his song "Lights Come On", the lead single from his forthcoming fourth studio album that is due in stores later this year via Broken Bow Records. The song was released back in April so it was two months the time we had to wait to check out the official music video online. And was that wait worth it? Unfortunately no (a big-time no!).

Directed by Shaun Silva, the at-times-in-black-and-white-at-times-in-color "Lights Come On" music video is basically a concert video. It features professionally shot footage of the "Lights Come On" performances from Jason's most-recent stadium/massive venues tour across the U.S. There's also your typical backstage footage, and brief commentaries directly from Jason Aldean speaking on the story behind his new single - which is about having a good time with your friends or loved ones and keep doing so even after the freaking lights come on.

A concert music video for the lead single? What a disappointment. "Lights Come On" is SUCH A GREAT TRACK and it deserved a proper music video. Let's start a revolt!

What do you think of the video?
