It Happened: Selena Gomez Signs With Interscope Records!
Congrats are in order for Selena Gomez! She’s finally out of Disney/Hollywood Records. The pop star posted a photo on Instagram on Saturday night (Dec. 13) showing her at a restaurant signing her new contract with Interscope.
Such a relaxed place to sign the contract that will define your career for the next few years, huh? You’d think this would happen at an office but hell to the NO; a restaurant. Selena was accompanied at the table by other people and definitely one of them had to be Instercope Records Chairman and CEO John Janick. The Instagram selfie shows Selena to be very happy and the caption that accompanies the image confirms it:
“Guess who's officially an Interscope artist ?? #thisiswhatdreamsaremadeof”
Rumour has it Ms. Gomez has already begun recording her next studio album and that it will get released by the end of 2015. DJ/producer Zedd was one of the first to “like” Selena’s Instagram post so this could really be a hint he’s involved in Selena’s next studio project. There is no excuses now…Selena has to bring it!!
