Is Lexi St. George The New Rebecca Black?

After losing Rebecca Black - legal disputes over the rights of the 'Friday' music video were the cause - ARK Music Factory were on the look for their next 'viral sensation' so they could load up their wallets again - In partnership with ABC show 'Good Morning America', the California-based record label launched recently a contest to find their Rebecca Black replacement. The contest's premise was: let's look in the malls of the Los Angeles area for girls with pop star pontential.

They held auditions, and within one week, they found THE girl. Lexi St. George, a 14-year-old from Palmdale, California was the 'lucky' winner. ARK Music Factory immediately took her to the recording studio to record her debut single, "Dancing to the Rhythm".

Lexi visited this week 'GMA' to world premiere the official music video. After watching it, Lexi shed tears of happiness while receiving positive feedback from the 'Good Morning America' presenters. Awww, I was really moved for a bit. The girl is very sweet! And she says she wants to be as big as Taylor Swift one day, let's just see if ARK Music Factory will let her. In any case, Lexi's first single "Dancing to the Rhythm" is cute but I think it's missing a 'spark'. Best of luck to her though. Thoughts?
