"I wrote that song when I was going through a difficult time in a relationship. I felt as though I was at a point where I was asking myself if I was giving more than I was capable of giving, if that makes sense. Things like "Is this person bettering me? Are we bettering each other?" I think those are serious questions many contemplate when they feel their relationship is headed in a direction they did not expect it would go."
And the cinematic video for 'Falling Like Fools' is just as captivating as the song. Directed by Carla Dauden, it depicts a couple at various points in their relationship, the happy times, the pain, etc. "As the story progresses you eventually see them falling in each scenario, until finally they fall into water, and we don't know if they will sink or swim...", explained Lizzie to DirectLyrics.
The 'Falling Like Fools' music video recently won an award of merit at international short film festival, 'Best Shorts Competition'.
