Gwen Stefani - "Spark The Fire" [Music Video Premiere!]
Now this is a video that you need to watch in HD. Gwen Stefani premiered last night (Dec. 1) the official music video for “Spark the Fire”, the newest single off the pop star’s third studio album allegedly still scheduled for release this month! (Say what?). December 1 better be re-named “Spark the Fire DAY” actually. For not only the music video for the Pharrell-produced song premiered online, last night the lively song also hit iTunes, and was performed for the first time on television on "The Voice" (see below too).
So. Has “Baby Don’t Lie” been officially turned into “buzz single”? Lol. Anyway, Interscope Records made the right move by releasing a new single soon. “Baby Don’t Lie” was just flopping everywhere.
“Spark the Fire” video review
Very cool, just like the song. The clip – “produced" by Grant Jue and Joseph Uliano – shows Gwen Stefani having the time of her life at an underground party and flying high on a cloud overlooking a cartoon-ish city. Pharrell has a few "cameo" here and there. He produced "Spark the Fire" solo and he's a Gwen Stefani friend so it was only obvious he’d get a few scenes in the clip. A FIAT car also has a scene. The car manufacturer is loving Gwen's new single so much that they have not only invested in its music video, they've also used "Spark the Fire" as the theme song of their latest commercial.
