Full Version Of Miley Cyrus' "FreeHeld" Theme Song "Hands Of Love" Released: Listen
We heard a snippet this a couple of weeks ago when the official trailer for “FREEHELD” was released online, but today (Oct. 1) we can finally check out the full version of Miley Cyrus’ new song “Hands of Love”. She specifically recorded this touching ballad to be the theme song of the upcoming drama film “FREEHELD”, starring Julianne Moore and Ellen Page, which hits theaters in the US tomorrow, October 2.
Plot of “FREEHELD”
“The film is based on the true story of Laurel Hester (Moore), a police officer in Ocean County, New Jersey. Following her diagnosis with terminal lung cancer in 2005, Hester repeatedly appealed to the county's board of chosen freeholders in an attempt to ensure her pension benefits could be passed on to her domestic partner, Stacie Andree (Page)”
“Hands of Love” is a guitar-driven, under 4 minutes ballad where Miley belts some incredible vocals about the best thing in the world; pure love.
Wow. Linda Perry knows how to write this kind of ballads! “Hands of Love” is one unique song in the sense I love the verses a lot more than the chorus. But the song as a whole is solid, and Miley's vocals keep getting better with age!
"In the hands of love, we carry home / Stronger than we started", sings M. Cyrus in the uplifting and inspirational "Hands of Love".
