Free Download: Tinashe - "Amethyst" [Mixtape]
She just officially released a new single, “All Hands on Deck” whose remix and radio edit features Iggy Azalea, but that ain’t stopping Tinashe from overshadowing that with the release of a new mixtape, one that’s called “Amethyst” and that fans can unlimitedly stream or download for free too starting today, March 16. Tinashe had already talked about this mixtape last year so surely this won’t come as a surprise to RCA Records. Personally, I don’t think it’s the best to drop a mixtape when you should be promoting your official single instead. But perhaps Tinashe's doing this because she’s already been notified that RCA won't spend a dollar on her on promotion. I sense like there won’t be a “All Hands on Deck” music video nor a performance on a TV show. What do you think?
“Amethyst” - The mixtape
It includes 7 songs which were all recorded in Tinashe’s bedroom over the Christmas vacation period (see haters? These aren't "Aquarius" left-overs as you were saying). Named after her birth stone, the follow-up to 2013’s “Black Water” has productions from IamSu!, DJ Dahi, and Ryan Hemsworth.
