Fifth Harmony Give First Ever “Work From Home” Performance On “Live With Kelly & Michael”: Watch
Girl group Fifth Harmony released last weekend their new single “Work From Home”, taken from their upcoming second album “7/27” (due in stores this May), and thankfully it didn’t take the young ladies too long to perform their sassy new song live on television.
I didn’t think the TV promotion would start this soon, but apparently L.A Reid (the head of Epic Records) is really in a rush to make “Work From Home” a hit. Not only did he authorize the single and the music video to drop on the same day, he made Fifth Harmony perform the song on television on the very next working day…that is, TODAY!
Fifth Harmony performed “Work From Home” on ABC’s “Live…With Kelly & Michael” this morning (Feb. 29), and boys and girls, the slayage was real. Not only did the girls look fierce, they served very strong vocals (minus Dinah who was very out of breath!..maybe Lauren can sing her part better?) - despite the show airing at 9 AM!
Truth is that if the girls are going to continue promoting “Work From Home” on TV in the next few days, I really hope they'd give Lauren a couple of lines of any of the two verses or perhaps give her an entire verse at select performances because it just looks dumb watching her being the only member that doesn’t get to really sing (and singing to the backing track in the chorus doesn’t count!) but just dance and dance.
