Fergie Debuts Nicki Minaj Collaboration “You Already Know” at Rock In Rio Festival! [VIDEO]
All eyes were on Fergie last night (May 20) in Lisbon, Portugal. The Black Eyed Peas star was scheduled to perform an hour-long concert for the Rock In Rio Lisbon 2016 festival and word in the street was that she was going to debut new music at the event. And did she? Well... OF COURSE SHE DID!
It was only one song from her upcoming much-anticipated second solo album "Double Dutchess" (in stores later in 2016 via Interscope Records) but it was the most amazing song ever. And actually it was the very first song of her setlist. That's right; directly in for the kill! Fergie didn't even let fans prepare.
The tentative title of the new song she debuted yesterday is "You Already Know". Featuring an old school vibe and a house-y hook, Fergie's new song is all about rap and showing off her mad skills to spit a verse. She's got major flow people...( if you had forgotten!) The slayage was real throughout the whole of the performance but there was a final surprise Fergie had in store for us. In the last line of the song we heard Nicki Minaj out of nowhere shouting "Make some noise for my girl Fergie Ferg!" (coming from the playback audio - she wasn't physically there).
OMG! What does this mean? 1) What we heard ain't the full version of "You Already Know", and 2) Nicki Minaj features in it! AHH!!!!!
