You better not mess with a heartbroken woman for the consequences for you might be immense! This is the theme of up-and-coming pop singer Chelsea Dash’s new single “Fugitive” - whose official lyric video we’re excited to be exclusively premiering today!

Hailing from Mill Valley, California, Chelsea Dash released last month her debut EP called “Dangerous” via Rekless Music/SeaWaves Music, and “Fugitive” is the latest single from said project. An official press release says of the EP: “An eight-song sonic and lyrical puzzle with pieces that form a perfectly cohesive message of fun and feminism, revelry and rebelliousness, desire and danger”. Chelsea really gets to show her “unique blend of pop, dance and R&B, with undertones of soul” in all 8 tracks of “Dangerous”. She’s by far one of the most exciting new pop artists I’ve discovered this year so far!

Speaking exclusively to Directlyrics.com about her new single, Chelsea said: "'Fugitive'" is a song about a scorned lover. It's one part revenge, one part wounded lover on the run. It's dark. It's mysterious. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned".

There are two messages Chelsea tries to convey in this new single, first; her pain of having been mistreated by a bad man and, second; her thirst for finding someone who really gets her, and both totally get across really well while listening to “Fugitive”. This is a song you’ll want to listen from the first to the very last second. It’s so intense! And that mysterious-sounding synth production made by Smitty Soul (Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Sean Kingston) makes a perfect symbiosis with Chelsea’s singing!
