Enrique Iglesias Performs "Bailando" & "Hero" on "GMA": Video
Enrique Iglesias got the party started but also had a tender moment during his set at Central Park in New York City on Friday, August 1, as part of Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series. The Madrid-born pop superstar is currently on a trek across major US television shows promoting his latest single from "Sex + Love" album, the English version of his song "Bailando", now featuring Mr. Sean Paul. "Bailando" was the first of three songs Enrique performed on Friday morning at Central Park. The Spanish version of "Bailando" has been a huge hit in Latin America and Spain, and now Republic Records is hoping the same success is repeated in the US with the English edit.
The other two songs Enrique did on GMA today were: “Hero” and “I’m A Freak”. Standing on the small, secondary 'stage, Enrique sang his classic ballad "Hero" for all his fans that woke up very early on Friday to see him live. Unlike the "Bailando" performance, where it was all 100% mimed, the "Hero" performance had moments where Enrique did have the mic turned on. Enrique wrapped up his GMA set with his club hit "I'm A Freak". Unfortunately, Pitbull wasn't there to assist him.
Before the live action began, Enrique sat down with the “GMA” host to discuss “Bailando”, the meaning of his “Sex + Love" album title and his upcoming tour.
