Eminem (feat. Nate Ruess) - 'Headlights' [Music Video]

It's Mother's Day and Eminem celebrates with fans by releasing the official music video to his 'Headlights' track featuring Fun lead vocalist Nate Ruess. The track serves as the latest single to be pushed from his current and eighth studio album 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2'.

'Headlights' holds deep meaning for Em and the veteran emcee made sure to provide a special visual for it. He teamed up with director Spike Lee, who rarely works on music videos anymore, and took the camera team into his old hood of 8 Mile Detroit. The majority of the visual is seen from the point of view of Eminem's mother Debbie Mathers and towards the end we see the two reconcile and hug it out. For long time fans of Marshall that know the past history between the two, this is more than just your everyday hug.

In a teaser of 'Headlights' released a couple days ago, Spike Lee dished out his thoughts on the track and music video. "I really love the narrative for what we've come up together for 'Headlights'. It's a great great story. It's heartfelt, some pain in it, but that's life. So that’s why we’re here, back in the hood 8 Mile Detroit, shooting where all this took place" he said.
