Ed Sheeran Performs "Don't" On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' / Talks Elton John & Courteney Cox
Ed Sheeran is in the States to promote his new single "Don’t” – second single from “X”. One of his first TV spots was last night – August 28th – on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC. There, the ginger-haired singer-songwriter sat down for a chat with the hilarious host where he discussed working with Sir Elton John or having sleepovers with Courteney Cox or Jamie Foxx. Once the chatting was over, Ed Sheeran took to the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” outdoor stage in Los Angeles to perform a two-song mini-concert for fans. Watch it all on the video below!
Did you know Ed and ‘Friends’ star Courteney Cox were so close? Me neither. Courteney even let Ed live at her Malibu home rent-free. He wrote a bunch of the songs from "X" there, according to a DailyMail article.
During the outdoorsy mini-concert, Ed and his guitar performed “Don’t” (inspired by his ex Ellie Goulding) and “Sing” – first two singles from “X”- before hundreds of fans. There was no band, just a Ed and a guitar, and a few backing track ad-libs here and there.
