Ed Sheeran Debuts New Song 'One' LIVE
Very pretty! Ed Sheeran let fans listen to a brand new track from his forthcoming album 'X' at 1pm UK time today (May 2). He didn't release the official studio version of the song, though, nor 'One' is available for purchase at the moment. What Ed did was upload a black and white video to his official YouTube page featuring him performing the beautiful ballad 'One' at an empty Wembley Arena in London. The result? Spectacular!
'One' sounds just perfect in this acoustic performance. The production of the studio version better not be a drastic difference. Just add more guitars, violins and a piano, if you will. Also, the fact that Ed was alone at Wembley Arena when singing 'One' made the video above extra special. Surely this wasn't a moment to remember for Ed.
As for the song lyrics, Ed sings in 'One' to an ex-girlfriend whom he still loves. However, that girl is already out of his life completely and has possibly married another man. Ed asks that girl to at least keep him as a friend. Awww! Stop it, where's my tissue!?
