Drama: The NFL Says Adele Is LYING About Super Bowl Halftime Show Proposal…
The NFL and Pepsi are publicly clocking Adele.
At her “25 World Tour” concert in Los Angeles last week, the “Hello” singer surprisingly addressed the crowd to talk about the rumor out there about her headlining next year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. The rumor had it that the NFL had made a proposal to Adele and that she was strongly thinking about it. So what did the British diva told her L.A fans? That indeed the NFL had made her the offer but that she had politely declined because she considered the Super Bowl Halftime Show to not really be about “the music”, and added that she didn’t “dance”.

The NFL and Pepsi in view of the headlines storming the Internet about the Adele rumor finally decided to clarify the situation by means of a joint official statement that they released last night (Aug. 14).
"The NFL and Pepsi are big fans of Adele. We have had conversations with several artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, we have not at this point extended a formal offer to Adele or anyone else. We are focused on putting together a fantastic show for Houston and we look forward to revealing that in good time."
Summary of the statement above: Adele is a liar for she was never approached with a formal proposal.
Maybe it was Adele’s management the ones who thought she would be ideal for a Super Bowl Halftime Show performance and it was them the ones that, before throwing the idea the NFL and Pepsi’s way, approached Adele with the “proposal”…but never the NFL and Pepsi?
The NFL and Pepsi didn’t need to make any public statement, and if they did it was clearly to correct Adele’s “false” words. That must be the only explanation…right?
