Drake’s New Album “Scorpion” Arriving In June
Drake announced yesterday via social media that his much-anticipate fifth studio album would be released in June. The new Drake album is officially titled “Scorpion”, as he revealed in one of two “announcement” photos he uploaded on Instagram. “Scorpion” will be the follow-up album to 2016’s “Views”, as last year’s “More Life” was dubbed as a “playlist”.
The new album was fully recorded in Toronto. And as far as who worked with Drake in the recording process, we can confirm Drake had studio session with the likes of Noah “40” Shebib, Pi’erre Bourne, Bad Bunny or London On Da Track.
The album title is clearly a nod to Drake’s zodiac sign. The Canadian artist was born on October 24th, 1986. And here’s a little trivia for you: In 2006, Drake released “A Scorpio’s Mind” on his first official mixtape, “Room for Improvement”.
The latest single from “Scorpion” is “Nice For What”, which just recently debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
