Drake Performs On 'Saturday Night Live'
Drake made his SNL debut last night (October 15th) with a double performance; first doing his current single "Headlines", and then smashing it with the already confirmed follow-up "Make Me Proud", accompanied on stage by Nicki Minaj. Both songs are lifted from Drizzy Drake's upcoming second album "Take Care" which will now hit US stores on November 15th, after being pushed back three weeks from its original release date of October 24th (where Drake would've competed head-to-head with Kelly Clarkson and Coldplay's new CDs. Good move by his label I must say! Let's avoid any possible disappointment xD).
Loved both of Drake's SNL performances. The passion with which he was rapping "Headlines" was amazing! He was feeling every lyric! And it was a nice gesture to flash the lyrics on the background for those who didn't know 'em. The "Make Me Proud" performance was great too! Great stage interaction between Drake and Nicki, who is looking hotter every day!. Only thing that failed though was Nicki's mic, the volume must've been too low cause it was mainly the backing track what we were listening to.
