Dr Luke Talks Jessie J & Spring UK Tour Confirmed!
In a recent interview with VEVO Lift, hit-making producer Dr Luke talked about working with new British pop sensation Jessie J - I only just found out Dr Luke produced the amazing and catchy "Price Tag"...isn't it formidable that he can produce these days something (Britney is special btw) that doesn't sound like Tik Tok? lol. Anyhow, Dr Luke explains to VEVO how the studio sessions with Jessie J came about. They only got four days to record a song - "Price Tag" wasn't pre-planned, it just 'happened'. (Hopefully Jessie's label paid for more sessions with Dr Luke. He can make her global). Dr Luke said he kinda had something prepared for Jessie, but that that didn't fit too well for her in the end, so he just picked up the guitar and along with Jessie and songwriter Claude Kelly they created "Price Tag" *Cha-Ching!*.
In other news, Jessie J has *confirmed* a new tour in the UK and Ireland in the upcoming Spring of 2011. The "Do It Like A Dude" singer will play in total seven shows beginning in Glasgow on March 31 and ending in Belfast on April 9. Go request "Price Tag" to your local radio now!
