Grammy Award-winning Haitian born artist and producer Wyclef Jean releases his anticipated 'April Showers' mixtape. The 33-track tape is the first project off of Wyclef’s new imprint label Refugee La Republique/All Handz On Deck.
Wyclef really branched out to all different styles of Hip-Hop with features coming from Waka Flocka, T.I., Mobb Deep, Kirko Bangz, Maino, Uncle Murda, Troy Ave, King Los, Trae Tha Truth, Loaded Lux, and many others. When asked about the features, Wyclef stated: “The idea of music today is always based on who is on the track than opposed to what’s the body of music about, I want people to be attracted to the idea that when you play this mixtape, it’s like you have to listen to it from beginning to end to understand the full story.” Along with rapping on original beats, the former Fugees member also puts his own sound on beats like Jay-Z's 'Open Letter' and Drake's 'Started From The Bottom'.
