Diesel adverts are just too cool.

The Italian fashion brand released online yesterday, January 11th, a new commercial in support of their upcoming Spring/Summer collection. In the video below you will see Diesel target the 20-30-year-olds demographic inspiring both sex and technology. The advert is full of good-looking male and female models dancing to DNCE’s “Pay My Rent” (taken from the EP “Swaay”) and not forgetting to show off the new Diesel clothes and accessories in front of backgrounds of various pastel colors. Amid all the camera staring, sexy faces, and poses, the models will flirt with each other using text messages (in a portrayal of the current dependence for smartphones), and funny emojis will fill the screen too. What a fresh and addictive advert, huh? Can’t stop watching!

DNCE, Joe Jonas’ new band, makes a guest appearance in the advert also bopping to “Pay My Rent” alongside the models. Joe will get extra exposure time towards the end of the commercial where he will play faces to camera, flirt with a girl via text messaging, and get the ‘crazy eyes’ effect applied on.

FYI: DNCE’s “Cake by the Ocean” is on the heavy rise in the US. Incredible, huh? Being patient and perseverant has paid off for them. Congratulations! By the way, now that I think about it, why couldn't Diesel use "Cake" instead of "Pay My Rent" as theme music for this commercial? That would've given "Cake" an extra boost!

Thoughts?
