Demi Lovato: "New Album Will Be My Best And Most Authentic & I WILL Get A Grammy Nomination!"
Amid rumors she may be saying Holywood Records (Disney) goodbye to say Island Records hello, pop star Demi Lovato made a series of powerful tweets on the eve of the 57th Annual Grammy Awards – we must recall the “Heart Attack” singer is yet to win a Grammy or be even nominated for one, about the state of her career and what future holds for the Demi brand.

Now who’s f*cking excited for Demi Lovato’s fifth album? I certainly am.
I am so ready to hear this, explicitly-hyped, “authentic” sound (where she will refrain no more and sing her heart out FOR REAL) that will make Demi’s fifth album her “best work yet”.
I am, though, a bit scared about the message of “not caring about the hits songs anymore”. Let us remember Miley recently “discovered” her true sound and score two monster hits (“We Can’t Stop” and “Wrecking Ball”) and just last year Selena Gomez broke out of her shell and released a type of ballad Hollywood Records would not have approved for her to release in her earlier years. And “Heart Wants What It Wants” was definitely a “hit song”. So I do worry a bit about what Demi wanted to convey. Hopefully she just means writing songs without feeling the knife of the label’s hits-seeking CEO around her neck and having the freedom to record what she really likes and if that “authentic” Demi lead single is a hit, well, she may have not have had that intention in mind (being number one) but hey, “thank you fans for loving MY sound!”.
