“Confident” is Demi Lovato’s fifth studio album and the follow-up to 2013’s “Demi”. Its official worldwide release date is October 15th, and this will be Demi’s first project that is distributed by both Hollywood and Island Records who have reached some sort of agreement in terms of Demi’s new music distribution.
“Confident” will come in two versions; standard and deluxe. The former featuring 11 tracks and the latter 15 – although two of the “extra” ones are just remixes of “Cool for the Summer”.
The producers who have helped Demi on this album have been Max Martin, Ali Payami, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Steve Mac and Ryan Tedder.
Collaborations-wise, there are only two in “Confident”. Both with female rappers; one with Iggy Azalea and the other with Sirah. “Who the hell is Sirah” you wonder? Hailing from Long Island, New York, she’s the raptress who won a Grammy in 2013 thanks to her collaboration with Skrillex, “Bangarang”.
