David Guetta & Sam Martin Perform "Dangerous" For The First Time on "GMA": Watch

So here it is; the first live performance of "Dangerous". David Guetta released last week his new album "Listen" but it wasn't until this week that he delivered the first televised performance of the lead single, the Sam Martin-assisted “Dangerous”. The dark EDM-funktronica song is just amazing and definitely one of Guetta’s best songs to date, and it’s also already a bona-fide hit in many countries, especially in Europe. In the USA, “Dangerous” is already at #66 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Top 40 radio is also welcoming Guetta's new single with open arms; already peaking at #25!

I don't know why it’s taken David so long to give us the first performance of “Dangerous” – it clearly affected first-week sales – but I’m happy to see here it is finally. It happened on ABC's "Good Morning America" on Thursday, December 4th. This was also the French DJ's first performance in a US morning show ever. Kind of a big deal, huh? Guetta performed “Dangerous” with an orchestra, and Sam Martin singing AND playing the piano. The "Sexy Bitch" star was in charge of the turntables on a special platform at the center of the stage. It all really “looked” like a proper "DJ" concert. Unfortunately, the "energy" at the studio wasn't that of a DJ concert. There was no hands thrown in the air, nor any crazy jumping up and down. I guess Guetta would have had to play a remixed version of “Dangerous” to provoke this in the crowd but his label wanted for him to do the studio/radio version instead. This lack of "DJ concert" feel did make the whole first TV performance of "Dangerous" look a bit lacklustre. Still, the song is pretty is good, and Sam Martin sings it live just like in the studio version. Power to him!
