Cover Drive - 'Explode' (Music Video)
Barbados-born four-piece band Cover Drive have premiered the music video for "Explode", the fourth single lifted from their debut album "Bajan Style", released in the UK earlier in 2012 via Polydor Records!
Four singles now? Not too shabby for Cover Drive! The last one "Sparks" peaked at #4 on the UK charts. And now the melodious island-flavoured dance mid-tempo "Explode" sounds like the perfect summer release. It makes you feel good, and the chorus is catchy. For the official 'single' edit Cover Drive have enlisted the collaboration of London-based rapper Dappy. Don't have anything against this guy, but his verse on "Explode" is so unnecessary. The original was flawless as it was. As for the "Explode" MV, it shows the stunning Amanda Reifer and Co. slaying the stage at a 'Battle of the Bands' gig that was being a little boring for judges and crowd until they got to perform. Get into the Bajan groove!
