Conor Maynard - 'R U Crazy' (Music Video)
OK, is this a tune, or what?. I've never been a fan of 20-year-old Brighton, England singer Conor Maynard, but his recently-premiered new single "R U Crazy" slays a bit. The song boasts a soulful, jazzy sound, with an electronic edge, that I am quite liking. "R U Crazy" is the first official offering from Maynard's upcoming still-untitled sophomore album to be released 'soon' via Parlophone Records. Music video is out today too. Watch above!
"Are you crazy, are you crazy, are you crazy, are you joking, must be joking, you ain't laughing, I ain't smoking", sings Maynard in the catchy chorus of his new single, which is out in the UK on October 6th. This is good, Top 5 hit stuff. I am impressed! Lemme take a listen to Conor's previous songs if I may have missed something good, lol. I wonder who produced "R U Crazy", by the way?. The song sounds so well elaborate, it gives me Timbaland teas, and the whole new sound Conor's adopted reminds me a bit of Justin Timberlake as well. Anyway, as for his new single's music video, it's pretty slick. It shows Conor trying to avoid the advances of his ex-girlfriend before she manages to seduce him and take him to a hotel room. Why, Conor?. Why?.
