Coldplay Perform "Christmas Lights" & "Adventure of a Lifetime" (Acoustic) On BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge": Listen
British rock band Coldplay will be releasing tomorrow, December 4th, their new studio album "A Head Full Of Dreams", and you know what that means, the time for heavy promotion has come. The band's first stop was in the UK, where their marvelous career started, being the stars of today's "Live Lounge" on BBC Radio 1. There, Chris Martin and Co. performed an acoustic rendition of the lead single from "A Head Full Of Dreams", the song "Adventure of a Lifetime", as well as an acoustic version of the band's Christmas song "Christmas Lights", which they released back in 2010 - I guess it was only appropriate to perform this song today. Unfortunately, there was no "mystery cover" *sad face*.
This Coldplay "Live Lounge" was something rather special, for it didn't take place at the BBC Radio 1 studios, where all guest artists usually do it, but at a very special building; the Church of St John-at-Hackney, built in 1792, and located in North East London.
US fans of Coldplay, don't be jealous of the Brits. Coldplay will be all over American television promoting "A Head Full Of Dreams" in the next few days.
