She may have not pulled in the largest crowd in ‘TODAY’ history, but UK’s Cher Lloyd certainly delivered a decent and cute live performance of her new single ‘Sirens’. The 20-year-old singer releases today, May 27th, her second studio album, 'Sorry I'm Late'. And she is indeed late because her debut was released three long years ago!

Wearing a short white lace dress, Cher treated NBC viewers this morning with a live performance of ‘Sirens’, the newest single from 'Sorry I'm Late'. Cher still has to learn to master the high notes of the song, but she’s improving!

‘Sirens’ is a great ballad - produced by Rami Yacoub and Carl Falk (known for their work with One Direction) - but we still feel Cher should've released something different as single no. 2 ('I Wish' was the first single) especially now that summer is approaching. Something like... 'M.F.P.O.T.Y’!! Yes, that should've been the one. ‘Sirens’ is cute, and we like it, but it’s definitely not connecting (enough) with the US audience. The song is currently at #46 on Top 40 radio (just too low! Even Becky G is beating Cher!) and we just don't want to imagine how the fact of not having a proper hit from the album yet will affect the first-week sales of 'Sorry I'm Late'…Hopefully they’re not too bad.

Cher will be busy all week promoting ‘Sirens’ and ‘'Sorry I'm Late’ on US television.
