Career Mistake? Little Mix Now Do McDonald’s Gigs…

So confused about this.

In the latest months Little Mix fans have been accusing record label Syco for subtlety boycotting the girl group’s latest single “Hairfor the lack of high-profile performances they’ve booked for the song. Apparently Syco’s FINALLY received the memo from the fans, but their actions towards amending this abandonment of Little Mix promotion situation are just a disgrace. Do you know what they’ve done? They’ve booked Little Mix a McDonald’s gig!

Here’s the story: McDonald’s is currently doing a “Hello Good Times” campaign in the UK where they’re inviting “popular” local singers and bands to come and surprise Big Mac eaters at select restaurants. Evidently this campaign sounds like one ideal for “lesser” acts, such as The Vamps, Nathan Syke, etc, but not LITTLE MIX.

In the girl group’s infamous “Hello Good Times” campaign “episode”, they are seen 1) surprising a bunch of McDonald’s UK customers with a “Hair” performance, and 2) singing “Happy Birthday” to a Little Mix little fan.

For real? McDonald’s? Yeah, I know Little Mix must’ve been paid a lot of money for these appearances, but come on…! Even if they thought this was a great promo opportunity for the band, didn’t they realize it is shameful to help promoting junk food in ANY way?

Not cool about this at all…but hey, collect them coins, girls….

Thoughts?
