Surprise! Cardi B shook her fans last night when she debuted the cover art of her long-anticipated full-length debut album, revealed the title of the project and announced the official release date on social media!
The album is called "Invasion of Privacy" and it will be released next Friday (she wasn't lying when she said it was coming soon!), i.e April 6th, via Atlantic Records. As for the album artwork, I'm living for it. The glossy colorful pic sees Cardi B serving funny face with a pair of high fashion sunglasses on, wearing a radioactive-yellow short wig and a checkered jacket as she sits on a one-person couch in a blue-walled room. Whoever came up with the concept for this cover, he or she must know they have on brilliant mind. I need to hire this photographer for my next photoshoot, lol. Seriously, Cardi B looks so great in the cover, so chic, and avant garde. I just love photoshoots where every detail has been thought of. I'm even loving Cardi B's lipstick choice!
By the way, rumor has it the music video for "Bartier Cardi" is premiering this Friday (she promised it was coming "this month" and the month is already coming to an end). Also, Cardi B has said that she's shot three other new music videos recently. So be ready for the raptress' forthcoming visual album experience.
