Britney Spears Falls On Stage In Las Vegas, Injures Left Ankle? (Video)
That certainly looked painful.
Princess of pop Britney Spears fell on stage last night (April 29), hurting her ankle in the process, during the latest date of her “Piece of Me” spectacle in Las Vegas.
The 33-year-singer was performing her hit song “(You Drive Me) Crazy”, nailing the bounc-y choreography, when suddenly she slipped and hurt her left ankle. She twisted it real bad – however, a professional Britney Spears kept the lip-syncing going, not missing any lyric.
For a short moment, Britney was forced to perform “Crazy” sat-down on stage as she evaluated her state. But in a matter of a few seconds, she tried to stand up. And baby, THE STUGGLE WAS REAL. She was quickly assisted her by dancers, though, and finally she could get back on her feet. However, her subsequent body movements showed she was in pain, but when inquired by a male dancer if; “are you ok, can you continue?”, she replied, “Yes!”.

So just a “scare”? Phew! I was truly worried. Remember she injured her left knee and had to have surgery back in 2004? I was preoccupied she might have damaged that area too! But it seems not. Also, I was majorly worried this would have evolved into a serious ankle problem as Britney’s supposed to start promo for her new single “Pretty Girls” next week! She just cannot get injured right now!
