Bonnie Mckee recently taped a three-performance set for Yahoo! Music. The talented singer-songwriter performed her 2013 summer hit "American Girl", a medley featuring some of the chart-topping hits she's penned (Britney, Katy, Taio Cruz), and Bonnie gave Yahoo! Music an exclusive as well. She debuted a brand new track called "I Wanna Call You", whose synth-pop beat was produced by Dr. Luke, of course. The catchy, bubble-gum pop song is said to be Bonnie's official next single. Are you loving it?
"American Girl" is ten times better than "I Wanna Call You", and that's a fact. But "American Girl" wasn't the "huge hit" it deserved to be, so maybe this more bubble-gum, puerile sound and lyrics of "I Wanna Call You" is something the US audience will like better? If it gets confirmed this is Bonnie's next official single, then that has to be Epic's thought. Anyway, "I Wanna Call You" is a "bop", and I support it too!
